How do I uninstall Internet Explorer?

1. Open the Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel, double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon or Uninstall a program link.
3. Click on the Add/Remove Windows Components option in the left frame. In Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 click on the Turn Windows features on or off option in the left frame.
4. Uncheck the Internet Explorer box and follow the prompts to uninstall Internet Explorer.
